RTS COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

1. Students will be required to actively participate in a weekly Therapeutic Recreation Clinic. Students will be assigned a child from the Norfolk Public School System's Special Education program. Students will program therapeutic recreation activities for the child during the TR clinic.
2. Students will develop a comprehensive therapeutic recreation activity plan for the child he/she has been assigned to during the TR clinic.
3. Students will conduct a community accessibility survey using the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Accessibility Guidelines on a local leisure service agency.

An RTS shirt will be required to be purchased and WORN during the TR clinic.

tonight at work...

...was pretty funny. the new manager up there [david] is pretty cool. he closed with steven and i tonight. steven's car died on the way to work today b/c his engine flooded when he went through a puddle and so i had to give him a ride home. his car is chillin in the parking lot now & we're both kinda worried about it staying over night in an empty parking lot. but it should be alright.

alright, well...i'm dead. haha i almost fell asleep at like 8 and then i found out i had to stay til close...but it was worth it. yesterday and today - AWESOME days. :)

i figured i'd post something. i'm SO ready for school to start. despite the fact i'ma be a hella lot more busy, i'm ready to get the books rolling. i pick up the rest of my stuff from ODU tomorrow at 4. and then it's off to karate. ;)

my new HP Officejet Pro 8500 is absolutely wonderful. 3000 pgs printable per ink cartridge. it's got individual ink cartidges...like one for pink, blue, yellow, and black. it prints, copies, scans, and faxes. it's wonderful. and it has memory card slots for those of you that wish to print pix without using walgreens or somewhere else. it's lovely. ;) well worth the near $200 i spent for it. but i got a $50 discount for giving them my old printer that didnt work. yay for office depot!

anyways...today was an all around wonderful day. except for the fact that gaby is leaving and i was almost brought to tears before departing...i enjoyed hanging out, per usual. karate was wonderful. a night i wont forget for a very long time. :)

OMG!!!

so i'm watching mythbusters, and they're building that giant 7ft LEGO ball!! they're gonna roll it down a hill and see if it'll work to crush a car or something like that. i turned it on & screamed in total glee to see LEGOs on the screen with the guys from one of my favorite shows. ahh the wonderful-ness ;)

harry potter and the half-blood prince was absoutely amazing. tho nothing in comparison to the book...at least the last few chapters i skimmed thru to find dumbledor died. lol. but all & all a good movie. :) crystal, lauren & i sat in the theater for a good 10 mins waiting for the lights/movie to come back on b/c they went out due to the storm. which of course made my phone act wonky. thus, upon leaving the theater i discovered three missed calls and two texts. >.< but it was a good nite finished off with a spicy chicken sandwich at wendy's watching the gorgeously terrifying lighting light up the sky.

that's steven's post he told me about when i got to work today lol...i felt special :) so, tomorrow he wants me to come in @ 7 with no make up on, in a baggy t-shirt and sweats doing my best to look like a guy b/c he wants to make roy jealous b/c he's stopping by. haha...omg, it's going to be wonderful!! XD

the rest of today was wonderful as well. ahh...life is grand!!! ;)
