now i remember why i rarely blog during the active school semester...

I NEVER HAVE TIME!!!!

as a semi-short update...i'm officially a Darden College of Education student and i love all my classes this semester. yes, i'll probably be chastised for taking RTS, but i enjoy the class & it's required. i'm excited for october to get here, so we may take on further interaction. i've joined the Recreation and Tourism Studies Club and our first meeting is on Sept. 17th [thursday]. i'm completely stoked!! [we're also holding a picnic the week before on the 10th...rain or shine either on the lawn of the education building or inside. once again - STOKED! met up with a few old friends from pius as well as a few from last semester. [oh, and lauren - we're having lunch with my friend Erinn on friday...btw] ;) uhm...what else...my favorite class thus far, granted it's only three days into the semester, is literature. the first author we studied was Stephen King. [yay!!] and soon we'll begin good ol' Poe. :) public speaking is nice as well. our first speech was due this morning, and [yay!] i aced it. [we were graded on the spot.] computer science - haha...it's like a repeat of pius. THANK YOU MISS O!!! we pretty much just have to do random projects demonstrating that we know how to use the various programs in Microsoft Office. [publisher, word, excell, etc...] so, that class should also be an easy A. english - the first chapter of the text we were to read was more interesting than i thought. so i'm glad for that. i think that's pretty much it right now in the education department.

aside from that, i'll FINALLY be getting back to karate at pius tomorrow. wanted to get a bit settled prior to getting back in full swing of all my activities. [which all good students should do...haha] so, between school, karate, work, and the uber amounts of homework, y'all can expect posts on here periodically...like tonight when i've completed all my assignments and have a few minutes of relaxation.

for now, i'm off to slumber; giving my brain a much needed rest after a hard day's night. ;)
